We are defined by our desire to be connected. Since the 2020 pandemic, our collective sense of intimacy has shifted; we no longer move, touch, or interact in the same ways. As a result, we investigated ways to interpret this distance as a method for re-imagining closeness. The final manifestation of research into bodies, space, and movement is a garment that visualizes and documents this new distance. Through photographs and drawings, this garment demonstrates the influence that the new distance has on our sense of space and closeness.
